Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated team at our residential program located in Redding, CA. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your expertise and compassion can truly make a difference.

As an MH/BH/IDD Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering healthcare services for individuals with mental health, behavioral health, and intellectual/developmental disabilities. You will be responsible for managing the overall medical care of the individuals we support, ensuring that each person's health needs are addressed with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing assessments and deliver appropriate medical treatment as needed
  • Monitor the health status of individuals and coordinate follow-up care
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
  • Educate individuals and staff on health-related topics to promote wellness and safety
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid LVN license in the state of California
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health, behavioral health, or intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid California LVN license.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral issues preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Prefer a candidate with SNF experience, has passed medications on multiple individuals, given medications via G-Tube, GJ Tube and provided tube feedings.

Compensation: $29 to $42/hr DOE!
