Job Description
Job Title: LPN Critical Care Step Down

Experience: 1-2 years of recent Critical Care Step Down/PCU experience required.
License: Active LPN License required.
Certifications: BLS (AHA) required.
Must-Have: Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
Description:
Position available for an LPN in Critical Care Step Down.
Ratios are 1:4-5 based on unit census and acuity.
Experience with cardiac telemetry and continuous monitoring is preferred.
Candidate must be comfortable caring for patients requiring high-flow oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP, post-procedural cardiac and vascular monitoring, and frequent assessments.
Weekend and holiday work is required every other weekend and every other holiday.
Candidates must be willing to float to similar acuity units within the LPN scope of practice.
Prior experience caring for progressive care/step-down patients is essential.
All requests for time off must be disclosed upon submission.
This position emphasizes teamwork and effective communication.
Travelers are expected to coordinate with peers to ensure coverage.
First-time travelers may be considered based on experience.
