Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Opportunity
Seeking an experienced LPN to join a dedicated short-term rehab unit specializing in wound care and complex procedural support. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor wound vacs, IVs, PICC lines, and nephrostomy care for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress accurately in EPIC electronic health records.
- Assist with patient assessments and provide wound care education.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Support float staffing needs while maintaining quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active NY state LPN license.
- Possess at least 1 year of recent experience in rehabilitation or similar settings.
- Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and wound care procedures.
- Be willing to work evening shifts (5×8 hours, 14:00-22:00).
- Capable of managing a patient ratio of approximately 1:10.
- Comply with travel and licensure requirements; no candidates within 75 miles of the facility.
