Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide overnight nursing care in a skilled nursing facility. This role involves ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality patient care through a rotating weekend schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to prescribed orders.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions during overnight shifts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including wearing photo badges and proper identification.
- Follow infection control protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination requirements or exemptions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to address needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Valid LVN license registered in the state.
- Proven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and rotate weekends reliably.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Demonstrated strong communication and team collaboration skills.
