Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a local contract position in a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The role involves providing patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient responses to treatments.
- Document patient care activities thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid LVN/LPN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in LTC or SNF preferred.
- Must have current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
- Must provide ID and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
