Long-Term Care Nurse

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper medication management under the supervision of nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor patient health status and record observations accurately.
  • Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Document patient care activities in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Comply with all safety, health, and privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
  • Current state nursing license without disciplinary actions.
  • Proven experience in LTC/SNF or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and patient safety.
