Long-Term Care Nurse
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper medication management under the supervision of nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient health status and record observations accurately.
- Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care activities in accordance with facility protocols.
- Comply with all safety, health, and privacy regulations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
- Current state nursing license without disciplinary actions.
- Proven experience in LTC/SNF or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and patient safety.
