LVJC Modernization – Senior Odyssey Integration Architect / Lead DeveloperThe Las Vegas Justice Court (LVJC) is seeking a senior-level Odyssey Integration Architect / Developer to lead and support critical modernization initiatives, system integrations, and long-term sustainability of the Court's Tyler Technologies Odyssey case management platform. This role requires deep, hands-on experience with Tyler Technologies case management systems, extensive Odyssey API and web services expertise, and proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise integrations in judicial environments. The individual will serve as a technical authority and mentor for the LVJC Development Team while partnering closely with Tyler Technologies and Clark County IT.Responsibilities include:Leading the implementation of Odyssey version upgrades, new modules, and major feature rolloutsDesigning and configuring Odyssey workflows, security roles, configuration packages, and business rules aligned with court operationsArchitecting solutions using extensive Odyssey Configuration Packages and custom integration codeMapping complex court business processes to Odyssey capabilities to identify automation and optimization opportunitiesCollaborating with Tyler Technologies and Clark County IT on testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and long-term architecture decisionsDeveloping and maintaining test plans, test cases, deployment scripts, release documentation, and issue logsProviding training and mentorship to the Development Team on Odyssey configuration, integrations, and best practicesAdditional responsibilities include:Designing and implementing advanced automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and platform-native toolsBuilding and maintaining Odyssey workflow automations to reduce manual entry and operational riskDeveloping reusable automation frameworks and templates for long-term sustainabilityProducing clear automation and integration mapping documentation tied directly to Odyssey functionalityLeading knowledge transfer sessions to upskill internal staffThe role also involves:Architecting and developing enterprise integrations between Odyssey and third-party systemsDesigning and maintaining middleware and integration platforms including Azure Integration Services, BizTalk, RabbitMQ, IMS, or equivalentServing as a subject matter expert for Odyssey APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), XML, JSON, and judicial data exchangesDeveloping and optimizing SQL Server stored procedures supporting integrations, batch processing, and automationLeading data conversion, migration, validation, and reconciliation effortsMentoring the Development Team on integration architecture, patterns, and best practicesAdditionally, the role includes:Designing SQL-based data models and stored procedures supporting SSRS and Power BIDeveloping automated reporting for USJR, CourTools, Client/state reporting, and internal metricsEnsuring data accuracy, completeness, and validation for leadership reportingProviding training and guidance on reporting tools and data interpretationSupport and troubleshooting responsibilities include:Providing advanced Tier-3 technical support for Odyssey issues escalated from LVJC IT or operationsDiagnosing and resolving complex issues related to integrations, APIs, automation, and data pipelinesPartnering with County IT on infrastructure, security, and database performance issuesActing as a technical escalation point and advisor for the Development TeamCollaboration, documentation, and knowledge transfer responsibilities include:Translating court business needs into scalable technical solutionsDeveloping system diagrams, data flow diagrams, ERDs, and integration mappingsProducing developer-level documentation, runbooks, and architecture standardsLeading training and cross-training initiatives to ensure long-term sustainabilityContributing to LVJC's IT modernization roadmap and integration strategyModernization contributions include:Delivering modernization initiatives tied to LVJC's roadmap, including proof-of-concept automations, integration pilots, architecture modernization efforts, and identifying and documenting continuous improvement opportunities with measurable business impactMaintaining up-to-date integration and architecture documentationMinimum qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experienceMinimum six (6) years of direct Tyler Technologies case management experienceMinimum six (6) years of judicial or court system experience in an Integration Architect, Developer, or Technical Lead role5–10 years of experience in system integration, middleware, or application architectureExtensive hands-on experience with Odyssey APIs, web services, and configuration packagesStrong expertise in Azure integration tools and/or BizTalkAdvanced SQL Server skills (stored procedures, performance tuning, batch processing)Proven experience designing secure, reliable enterprise integrationsDaily/weekly expectations include:Participating in LVJC IT team stand-ups and project meetings to provide status updates.Working with business analysts, developers, and Tyler Technologies on active projects or upgrades.Developing and testing new automations, workflows, or stored procedures for upcoming releases.Collaborating with court divisions to understand pain points and identify opportunities for automation.Performing code reviews and validating integrations across test and production environments.Providing input into IT modernization initiatives, backlog refinement, and upcoming sprint planning.
