We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Lunch Aide. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and positive environment for students during lunch periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch waves to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Monitor student behavior and encourage positive social interactions.
- Assist with light clean-up duties between lunch waves (including wiping tables).
- Support school staff in maintaining order and cleanliness in the cafeteria.
- Respond to minor student needs and escalate issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Enjoy working with children and maintaining a positive, respectful demeanor.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but not required.
