Freight Breakers LLC is hiring dependable, motivated Warehouse Lumpers to join our fast-paced furniture distribution center in Jacksonville, FL.
THIS IS HOT, PHYSICALLY DEMANDING WORK.
You will be unloading furniture from trailers in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The trailers can be extremely hot, especially during the summer, and the furniture is heavy and bulky. This job requires constant physical movement, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and stacking for extended periods of time.
THIS JOB IS NOT FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR LIGHT WAREHOUSE WORK. You should be comfortable working hard in the heat and repeatedly handling furniture weighing 50-100+ lbs.
This is a production-pay position , meaning your earnings are based on your productivity and performance. The harder and more efficiently you work, the more you can earn.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Unload heavy furniture from hot inbound trailers
  • Repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture weighing 50-100+ lbs.
  • Move and stage heavy furniture throughout the warehouse
  • Work as part of a team to safely unload trailers and meet daily production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and maneuver 50-100+ lbs.
  • Comfortable working in hot trailers and a physically demanding environment
  • Able to stay physically active for the entire shift
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Dependable and motivated
  • Warehouse, moving, unloading, or physical labor experience is a plus, but not required
  • We will train the right candidates
