Receiver PositionKellogg is looking for a Receiver in our Duck location.Position Title: ReceivingEmployee Classification: Hourly based on ExperienceSupervised By: Store ManagementPrimary Responsibility: Receiving Incoming Freight/Inventory ManagementJob Duties/Responsibilities:Customer ServiceVerify inventory of all incoming and outgoing freightVerify inventory on all incoming and outgoing ISTsDevelop a system of cycle countsProcess discrepancies and creditsUnload incoming freightAssist with yard/warehouse organization (Labels, Special Orders, etc.)Clean and organize materials and work environmentAssist in daily store opening and closing proceduresActively engage in increasing knowledge of industry, products, customers and sales techniquesAll other job-related activities assigned by SupervisorExperience/Skills:Outstanding customer service skillsComputer literacyKnowledge of building products and how they are sold. Detailed knowledge of specific product area is a plus (i.e. windows, doors, decking, framing material)Strong interpersonal and customer relations skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environmentStrong attention to detail and follow-throughBasic math and measurement skillsProficient with POS systems (building supply specific a plus)Forklift certifiedMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentBuilding products knowledge and/or sales experienceAbility to handle and maneuver stock and deliveries weighing up to 60lbs.Ability to stand and be mobile for prolonged periodsWork Environment:Kellogg Supply Company is an independently owned and operated building supply company.
