LUBE TECHThe Lube Tech performs preventive maintenance, fueling, and minor repairs on pumps, belt lines, bearings, and other equipment around the plant site. Key duties involve operating a service truck, conducting safety inspections, assisting mechanics, and maintaining accurate service records. You will work with other maintenance, field, mill, and packaging employees to ensure all equipment is properly lubed and serviced on a regular schedule.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Conduct oil changes, grease points, replace filters (oil, fuel, hydraulic), and top off all necessary fluids for large mobile mining equipmentCarry out scheduled PM services, inspect components for wear, and identify potential issues to prevent costly downtimeConduct Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs), follow all safety procedures, and maintain clean work areasComplete service reports, logbooks, and work orders accurately, either on paper or electronicallyKeep service trucks, pumps, and tools in good working orderPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum qualifications include:High school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's licensePreferred qualifications include:OSHA 10HRA minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial work settingExperience doing maintenance workSpecific knowledge, skills, and abilities include:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyKnowledge of pumps, seals, packing, and bearingsAbility to problem solve, learn processes quickly, and stay calm in a stressful environmentExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to understand and follow oral and written directions. Ability to read alpha and numeric; ability to use simple mathPhysical requirements and work environment:Work is typically performed outdoors in a non-temperature controlled environment.
