LTL Pricing AnalystLowell, Arkansas, United StatesPosition SummaryThe LTL Pricing Analyst plays a key role in driving profitability and market competitiveness within the less-than-truckload (LTL) space. This individual will analyze freight data, develop strategic pricing models, and partner closely with sales, operations, and finance to deliver accurate, market-aligned pricing solutions.This is a highly visible, data-driven role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys balancing speed, precision, and strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze freight rates, fuel costs, accessorials, and market trends to develop competitive pricing strategiesBuild and maintain rate matrices, tariff structures, and lane-specific pricing modelsBenchmark pricing against industry standards to identify gaps and opportunitiesIdentify cost-saving opportunities and margin improvement initiativesPrepare and deliver accurate, customer-specific pricing proposals and bids within required timelinesPrioritize and manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracySupport contract negotiations with data-driven pricing insights and recommendationsPartner with sales, operations, and accounting teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and execution capabilitiesCollaborate with operations to validate service feasibility and cost structuresMaintain strong relationships with carriers to secure competitive rates and stay informed on market trendsTrack and analyze KPIs to measure pricing effectiveness and profitabilityIdentify process improvements and implement best practices within pricing workflowsMaintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate reports as neededConduct customer and market research to support pricing decisionsAssist with special projects and strategic initiativesStay current on industry trends through ongoing training and developmentPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in LTL, freight brokerage, or transportation pricingStrong understanding of LTL tariffs, NMFC classifications, and carrier rating systemsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)Experience with data visualization or analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasetsExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilitiesSolid understanding of LTL cost drivers and market dynamicsEducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
