We currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40 hr/week Maintenance Director.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.
- Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment
- Must have how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility
- Must be able to see small details, in equipment, machinery, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentation
- Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations.
- Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner.
- Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures
- Responsible for fire safety
- Participates in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings
