- End Date: 12/15/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Charting System: EPIC
- Unit Volume: 49 beds with an approximate patient ratio of 1:7
- Active LPN/LVN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility or other 24/7 skilled care environment
- Minimum 13 weeks of EPIC experience
- Preferred experience in med-surg or inpatient rehabilitation nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work in a high-acuity setting and contribute to a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Comfort assisting with patient safety tasks, including helping CNAs and responding to call lights
- Willingness to participate in call requirements and holiday rotations as scheduled
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult patients receiving inpatient rehabilitation services
- Support patients with complex recovery needs, including mobility challenges and high-acuity care requirements
- Assist with daily nursing care, monitoring, documentation, and ongoing patient assessment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote patient recovery, function, and independence
- Use mobility and clinical equipment such as ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy/Sara Plus, slide boards, vital sign machines, EKG equipment, and BGM devices
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, including responding promptly to call lights and assisting with patient support needs
- Follow facility scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping expectations
- Float to a nearby satellite IRF facility if needed in the future
