  • Setting: Skilled nursing / swing bed environment with floating as needed
  • Additional Notes: Floating and call may be required based on census and unit needs
Job Requirements
  • Active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state
  • At least 1 year of recent Licensed Practical Nurse experience required; 2+ years preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • IV certification required
  • Ability to work nights and adapt to floating within scope of practice
  • Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehab, or med/surg settings preferred
  • Ability to meet facility compliance requirements, including fingerprinting for New Mexico travelers
Responsibilities
  • Provide delegated direct patient care under the direction of an RN
  • Support patients with activities of daily living, medication administration, and documentation
  • Perform physical assessments and collect relevant patient data
  • Administer peripheral IV therapy, IV antibiotics, and IV fluids as allowed by certification and scope
  • Assist with discharge planning and implementation of provider orders
  • Maintain shift accountability and help ensure safe, high-quality patient care
  • Float to rehab and med/surg areas as needed within clinical competency
  • Collaborate with the care team to promote positive patient outcomes
