Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

• Processspecimens for laboratory analysis
• Performmolecular and bacteriological based assays
• Workwith dangerous pathogens within the biosafety level 3 laboratory
• Assistwith test validations
• Performquality control and participate in corrective actions
• Performinstrument maintenance
• Communicatewith Epidemiologists, law enforcement, hospitals, and other local partners
• Provideoutreach presentations to partnersPerformtesting in the Tuberculosis, Serology and Virology laboratories

Qualifications

• MUSTmeetCLIA high complexity testing personnel qualifications (clickHEREto review the standardqualifications)
• Previousexperience working in a clinical or research lab
• Previousexperience with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
• Goodcommunication skills
• Pass acriminal background check
