Duties Include:
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants;
- Performnecessary nursing duties;
- Perform administrative duties such as chartingand completing medical forms and reports;
- Receive physicians’ orders;
- Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed;
- Prepare andadminister medications as necessary;
- Notify charge nurse of all drug andnarcoticdiscrepancies;
- Ensuretheaccuracyofnarcoticsrecordsforshift;
- Inform charge nurse of staffing needs;
- Responsible for comprehensivenursingcare.
