About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Senior Behavioral Health Unit. This 15-bed inpatient psychiatric unit specializes in treating elderly patients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and more. You will work closely with a care team including RNs, mental health technicians, a psychiatrist, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, a social worker, and a recreational therapist.
Signing Bonus: $7,500
Bonus Description: One-time sign-on bonus paid upon hire.
This is a full-time day shift role, with a weekend program schedule of Friday to Sunday consisting of three 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and RNs with patient care, including medication administration, monitoring, and documentation.
- Provide direct care to patients while maintaining a compassionate and safe environment.
- Observe and document patient conditions, including changes in physical or mental health.
- Restock patient rooms and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Perform all duties in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Experience or interest in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
