nPosition Summary
nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated EMT, LPN, or RN to join our Direct Primary Care (DPC) and Urgent Care team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting providers, and ensuring efficient clinic flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to manage time effectively, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
nQualifications
nCurrent certification/licensure as EMT, LPN, or RN (state of Missouri)
nIV Certification (Required)
nBLS/CPR certification (required)
nStrong organizational and time management skills
nAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
nExcellent communication and patient care skills
nExperience in urgent care, primary care, or similar setting preferred
nWork weekdays AND Saturdays
nKey Responsibilities
nPatient Care & Clinical Duties
nRoom patients and obtain complete vital signs at every visit
nPerform patient intake, including medical history and chief complaint
nAdminister injections (IM, SQ, etc.) as ordered by provider
nStart and manage IV therapy (fluids, medications, etc.)
nAssist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
nPerform in-house lab testing (e.g., strep, flu, COVID, UA, glucose, etc.)
nCollect and prepare specimens for processing or external labs
nPerform EKGs and other basic diagnostic testing as needed
nProvide wound care, splinting, and basic procedural support
nClinic Operations
nManage and maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
nSchedule patients and assist with follow-up appointments as needed
nEnsure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared between patients
nMaintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
nVerify and update patient information, medications, and allergies
nMonitor lab and diagnostic results and assist with follow-up coordination
nAdministrative & Support Duties
nAnswer phones and assist with patient questions when needed
nCoordinate care with providers and team members using internal communication tools
nEnsure compliance with clinic policies, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements
nAssist with inventory management and supply ordering
nParticipate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives
