Job Description: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care
Location: Claremont, NH
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Type: Nights
Hours/Day: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Certification Requirements:
  • BLS (AHA) certification
State License Requirements:
  • New Hampshire state nursing license
  • Compact License allowed
Additional License Requirements:
  • NH or Compact RN license must be in-hand at submission. Facility will not pend.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a specialization in Long Term Care to join our healthcare team in Claremont, New Hampshire. This position is a 13-week assignment on night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of long-term care residents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and assess the health status of residents and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to residents.

  • Adhere to all applicable nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Valid New Hampshire state nursing license or Compact License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
