ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Paducah are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
• Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
Qualifications:
• Current, active LPN license in the State of Position
• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
