RN/LPN - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Madison, WI
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule / Shift: 18:30 - 07:00, with weekend hours required every other weekend and holiday rotations.
Job Description: The RN/LPN will provide comprehensive care for adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs. This position is based in an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility, focusing on maximizing health, function, and quality of life for patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care in a high-acuity rehabilitation environment.
- Regularly assist with patient mobilization and answer call lights for patient safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist nursing staff and certified nursing assistants (C.N.As) as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment.
- Inpatient rehab or medical/surgical experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
