Job Description
LPN/LVN Critical Care Step Down
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shifts, working 3x12 hours from 07:00 to 19:30.
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN/LVN for a Critical Care Step Down unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be comfortable providing care to patients requiring complex monitoring and management.
Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a progressive care/step-down environment.
• Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs regularly.
• Administer high-flow oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP, and perform cardiac and vascular monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with RNs and other healthcare team members regarding patient status changes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of recent Critical Care Step Down or Progressive Care Unit experience required.
• BLS Certification (AHA) required.
• Active LPN License required at the time of submission.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and continuous monitoring preferred.
