About the Role:
nEden Center For Integrative Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our corrections healthcare team in Fort Edward, NY. nResponsibilities:
nProvide direct patient care and nursing services to incarcerated individuals in a correctional facility setting
nAdminister medications, treatments, and injections in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
nConduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately in medical records
nRespond to medical emergencies and provide urgent/acute care as needed
nCollaborate with physicians, RNs, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
nPerform wound care, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures within LPN scope of practice
nMaintain compliance with correctional facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare standards
nRequirements:
nActive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New York
nPrior experience in corrections, behavioral health, or similar clinical environment preferred
nStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
nAbility to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-stress or unpredictable situations
nSolid knowledge of medication administration, infection control, and patient safety protocols
nExcellent communication and documentation skills
nCurrent CPR/BLS certification required
