Position Summary

The goal of the LPN Fellow program is to assist the Nursing student with the development of clinical skills. The LPN Fellow, in an atmosphere of acceptance and support, will learn the art and science of Nursing within the framework of The Powers Health philosophy, goals, and standards of care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Observes and performs nursing care functions.
  • Assists with admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
  • Measure vital signs, patient's height and weight.
  • Answers call lights promptly.
  • Performs dressing changes, skin and wound care insertion of Foley catheters

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing.
  • Maintain current CPR Certification
  • Completion of one semester of didactic and clinical.
