Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nursing staff in the care of patients
- Perform various patient care activities including nursing visits for biologics injection teaching, suture removals, phototherapy treatment, patch testing placement
- Assist with medication authorizations and patient assistance program forms for biologics
- Facilitate and maintain database monitoring of infusions and biologics/specialty medications
- Assist with in basket messages for specialty clinics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- One or more years of related experience
- CPR certification required
