Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
- Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current, valid, and unrestricted Washington license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a LPN within the last 3 years.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, etc.).
