Stones River Manor, founded in 1977, is Rutherford County's only faith-based, nonprofit senior living community and 2024 Ruthie's Community Choice Awards Winner. As a full service, continuing care campus, the goal of the Manor is to provide a comfortable, happy, secure environment for our residents. We strive to treat everyone just like members of our own family and to keep a clean, comfortable facility that is the closest thing possible to being at home.
Summary
Assists residents with prescribed medical treatment and personal care services.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Plans and manages resident care according to each resident's needs.
- Obtains resident vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Answers resident calls.
- Provides routine care for residents.
- Monitors resident's condition including fluid intake and output and compose resident charts
- Observes resident's health.
- Monitors food trays for prescribed diet.
- Reviews medical charts.
- Accompanies residents to their rooms as needed.
- Assists physicians and registered nurses.
- Communicates with residents and their families.
- Collects samples for lab testing as assigned.
- Administers medication and also assists with self-administered medication.
- Observes residents and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment, to personnel in charge.
- Prepares specimens for lab courier.
- Provides wound care.
- Assists with resident comfort.
- Cleans equipment and supplies.
- Inventories and requisitions supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 1 or more employees in the Resident Healthcare Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training employees: planning, assigning, and directing work as well as appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Stones River Manor offers 8 hour shifts for a more well-rounded work/life balance. A variety of benefits are offered to full-time employees including, but not limited to, vacation time, health insurance, and holiday pay. Weekend shifts come with differentials. Some part-time positions also include benefits.

Licenses/Certificates
- Completion of state approved training program
