Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Ambulatory – OBGYN – Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.
LPN works under RN and physician direction, supporting OBGYN team in prenatal and gynecology care. Shift 7:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care activities under RN/physician direction.
- Collect and document objective/subjective data and observations.
- Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
- Implement nursing care plans, medication or treatment and communicate patient responses.
- Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved practical nursing school.
- Current Ohio LPN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of patient care experience.
Physical Requirements
- Full body motion to move, lift patients; manual finger dexterity; standing, walking, occasional lifting.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
- Exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
- Medium Work – exerting 20–50 lb occasionally, 10–25 lb frequently, >10 lb constantly to move objects.
Personal Protective Equipment
- Follow standard precautions using PPE as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $23.25
Maximum hourly: $33.50
Pay determined after considering work history, experience, skill set and education; does not include shift differentials, overtime or benefits.
