Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems. (Locks, Keys, Cameras, Access Control and Alarms). This role requires proficiency in problem solving and the use of power tools. The Installation Technician will work both independently and as part of a team in various field service environments.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure security systems, including cameras, access control, alarms and other equipment.
- Utilize remote access software to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Document installation processes, system configurations, and any issues encountered during installation.
- Provide training to clients on the operation of their security systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
Qualifications
- Experience is always a plus.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles.
- Familiarity with power tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel to various job sites.
