About the job Low Voltage Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Low Voltage to support commercial and special installation projects in the Orlando, FL area. This role is ideal for technicians with hands-on experience in structured cabling who can work independently, follow project specifications, and deliver high-quality installations.
Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage cabling systems in commercial environments
  • Run and terminate CAT5e/CAT6, fiber, voice, and data cabling
  • Perform limited conduit work and drilling as required
  • Install cable support systems such as J-hooks, cable tray, cable rack, and innerduct
  • Ensure all cabling is neatly dressed, labeled, and installed per industry standards
  • Test and certify installed cabling and connected devices
  • Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Low Voltage / Data Cable Technician
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site drawings
  • Experience with structured cabling infrastructure
  • Familiarity with CCTV, access control, voice, and data cabling (preferred)
  • Knowledge of color codes and cable identification
  • Ability to work in tight spaces and at heights
  • Comfortable operating scissor lifts and boom lifts
  • Experience with conduit installation (preferred)
  • Must have basic telecom tools, required PPE, and reliable transportation
  • Proficient with smartphones and basic computer applications
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
