Digital Interiors – Clawson, Michigan Full-Time

Digital Interiors is looking for a Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team.

We design and install technology systems in high-end residential, commercial, and government environments throughout Southeast Michigan. Our projects include everything from home theaters and whole-home audio to enterprise networks, conference rooms, golf simulators, lighting control, motorized shades, surveillance, and automation systems.

Experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.

More important to us is finding someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable with technology, takes pride in their work, and genuinely wants to learn a skilled trade.

What You'll Work On

Low-voltage wiring and structured cabling

CAT6 network installation and termination

Wi-Fi and network systems

TVs, projectors, and video systems

Home theater and distributed audio systems

Golf simulator systems

Lutron lighting control and motorized shades

Security cameras and surveillance systems

Conference room and commercial AV systems

Equipment racks and system installation

Control and automation systems

Troubleshooting and service

Our technicians work with some of the best technology in the industry, including Lutron, Sonos, Control4, JOSH AI, DMF Lighting, Sony, Samsung, Sonance, Axis, and other professional AV and networking products.

Who We're Looking For

You may already have low-voltage or AV experience—or you may be someone who has always been good with tools and technology and wants an opportunity to turn that ability into a career.

The right candidate should:

Be dependable and show up on time

Have a strong work ethic

Be comfortable working with hand and power tools

Have good attention to detail

Be willing to learn new technology

Be comfortable working on ladders and active construction sites

Communicate professionally with customers, builders, and other trades

Take pride in doing clean, professional work

Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Previous experience in low voltage, electrical, AV, networking, construction, security, HVAC, or another skilled trade is helpful but not required.
