Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Field Engineer to conduct an onsite survey at a large warehouse/distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess existing low-voltage and structured cabling infrastructure.
- Inspect Cat6/Cat6A, fiber cabling, cable pathways, MDF/IDF rooms, and network racks.
- Identify potential locations for network drops, wireless access points, CCTV, and access control devices.
- Document cable routes, measurements, and proposed device locations.
- Capture site photographs and prepare a detailed survey report.
- Provide preliminary cable estimates and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Required Skills:
- Experience in structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optics, MDF/IDF, and cable pathways.
- Previous warehouse, industrial, or commercial site survey experience.
- Ability to independently conduct onsite assessments and prepare documentation.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be available for onsite dispatch in Phoenix, AZ.
- Should have a laptop/tablet, measuring tools, camera, and required PPE.
