Low Voltage Lead TechnicianAs a Low Voltage Lead Technician, you will be responsible for supervising junior technicians on commercial jobsites. Candidates will be expected to train junior employees on pulling, testing, and terminating copper and/or fiber optic cabling in a construction environment. FSG is a leading provider of low-voltage solutions and is looking for long-term, career minded individuals to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas and surrounding areas.ResponsibilitiesSupervise junior Low Voltage Technicians on a commercial jobsitePull, test, and terminate CAT5e/6a cabling in a commercial environmentInstalling support structure such as J-hooks, saddles, slings, and cable trayOperate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipmentEnsure cables are labeled in a neat and organized mannerTest every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established proceduresRecord time and materials usedAssist other members of the team with installation and maintenanceResearch required information using available resourcesBe willing to work any shift (days, nights or weekends if needed)Be able to work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather working at heights, and in small, confined spacesQualificationsAt least 3 years of experience leading technicians on projectsHigh School Diploma or equivalentLow Voltage Industry certifications preferred (BICSI, FOI, FOA etc.)Manufacturer training preferred (CommScope, Panduit, etc.)OSHA preferredAbility to pass all pre-employment screeningsPay RangeUSD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
