To support a growing telehealth practice, the contract-based Louisiana Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct virtual assessments, prescribe and monitor medications, and collaborate with a team of therapists while working remotely. Key responsibilities Conduct virtual psychiatric assessments and evaluations to create medication management plans Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Collaborate with licensed therapists and counselors to ensure comprehensive client care Required qualifications Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and national certification Minimum of 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health Experience with telehealth platforms and technology for virtual consultations Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
