To support advanced practice providers, the part-time Collaborating Physician will provide clinical oversight and support, ensuring high-quality patient care through chart reviews and compliance with state regulations in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Serve as the designated collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants Review patient charts and clinical documentation to ensure quality and compliance Participate in meetings with NPs/PAs to discuss clinical performance and care standards Required qualifications Current, active license in Louisiana (MD/DO) 3+ years of clinical experience post residency Primary specialty in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred Active practice in the state and not enrolled in the Medicare Opt-Out program
