You'll be responsible for managing delinquent accounts and finding solutions that benefit both our members and the organization.Key responsibilities include:Contacting members regarding delinquent accounts and working toward successful resolutionManaging consumer loan, credit card, negative share, and small commercial collection accountsMaintaining accurate collection records and documentationApplying state and federal regulations related to collections, bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossessions, and consumer protectionPartnering with attorneys, repossession vendors, and external collection agencies when appropriateMaking recommendations regarding repossessions, charge-offs, and collection strategiesDelivering exceptional member service while meeting performance and quality goalsSupporting department reporting and operational initiativesWhat Makes Someone Successful in This RoleWe're looking for individuals who:Communicate confidently and professionallyEnjoy problem solving and negotiating solutionsAre self-motivated and goal orientedBalance member empathy with sound business judgmentThrive in a fast-paced environmentCan work independently while staying accountable to performance goalsWhat You'll BringAssociate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
