Supporting the growth of the Loss Analysis department, the full-time remote Loss Analysis Business Analyst will identify, itemize, and report mortgage servicing losses while conducting account reconciliations and root cause analysis to drive process improvements. Key responsibilities Perform full account reconciliations on loans post-default, distinguishing between controllable and non-controllable losses Conduct detailed root cause analysis to identify primary and secondary loss drivers and communicate findings to management Collaborate with business units to identify process gaps and develop corrective actions to improve servicing processes Required qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in mortgage servicing loss analysis, default claims, or related analytical functions Direct experience with FHA servicing guidelines and claims processes is required Hands-on experience with loan reconciliations and managing an individual inventory while meeting service-level agreements Strong understanding of mortgage servicing, default servicing, and claims processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like Xlookup, Vlookup, and Pivot Tables
