Roles and Responsibility
Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Help with mobility and positioning of patients to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
Report any significant changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff.
Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
Provide updates on patients' conditions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Observation and Reporting: Observe and report any changes in patients' physical or emotional conditions.
Document observations accurately and maintain detailed records of patient care activities.
Assistance with Procedures: Assist with various medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and other tasks as directed by registered nurses.
Comfort and Support: Provide emotional support to patients and create a caring and empathetic environment.
