Long-Term Substitute Administrative AssistantGuilford High SchoolDescription and Minimum Qualifications:Employee serves as administrative assistant in the Counseling Department, and will be expected to perform work that assists with the smooth operation of the department. The position includes, but is not limited to: screening and greeting visitors for Counseling office; coordination of 504 meetings and college rep. visits; prepare mailings for school events; update website for department; manage purchase requests; clerical support for school counselors and director of school counseling; and performing office work such as proofreading, preparing mailings and information for distribution, distributing mail, filing, and demonstrating a positive and welcoming attitude for working with families, students, building staff and visitors to the school.· Experience using Microsoft Office software, required· Experience using the Google platform including email, scheduling appointments, spreadsheets and Excel, required· Experience in working with high school-age children, preferred· Experience working in an administrative office position, preferredResponsible to:Building AdministratorWork Period:As soon as possible through on or about December 31, 20267 paid hours per day (7.5-hour day will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)Starting Date :As soon as possibleClosing Date :Open until filledSalary :$24.96/hourDue to the temporary nature of this assignment, no benefits package is available.Credentials Required:Please complete an online application through the Employment page of the Guilford Public Schools website
