Long term substitute position will be begin at the start of the school year, August 31, 2026 through approximately March 1, 2027. The Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate is: $307 per day The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Math and or Science and will be teaching classes in Biology, Geometry, Algebra, etc. The Randolph High School Long Term Sub Teacher will facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implement district approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals. • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. • Plan and deliver effective and engaging instruction • Promote equity and appreciation of diversity • Maintain classroom management • Promote high standards and expectations for student achievement • Provide rigorous instruction aligned with the MA Common Core Practices and Standards • Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal and/or Department Head
