Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate music lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to different learning styles.
- Introduce fundamental music concepts like rhythm, melody, harmony, and pitch.
- Teach basic music theory, vocal techniques, and instrument skills.
- Lead singing, movement, and instrumental activities.
- Conduct rehearsals for school performances and concerts.
- Organize and manage musical events and activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a student gradebook
- Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Communicate with parents and administrators about student progress.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay current with best practices in music education.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members.
- Direct instructional assistants and volunteers.
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements.
