Long-Term Care Underwriter

Underwriting fully underwritten Long-Term Care cases, the full-time Long-Term Care Underwriter will analyze new business, reinstatements, and policy changes while applying established guidelines and collaborating with stakeholders in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Underwrite complex Long-Term Care cases and make sound risk decisions based on established guidelines Consistently apply underwriting expertise and escalate complex situations as needed Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners while communicating underwriting decisions clearly Required qualifications 5+ years of relevant fully underwritten Long-Term Care underwriting experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex risks and make independent decisions Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective relationship-building Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business tools, with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently in a remote setting with access to high-speed internet
