About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Logistics Operations Manager to lead and optimize their supply chain functions, working entirely remotely. This senior role involves overseeing all aspects of logistics, from procurement and warehousing to distribution and delivery. You will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient logistics strategies, managing a remote team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Manage and mentor a remote team of logistics professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee all warehousing operations, including inventory control, space utilization, and safety protocols.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management , with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
• Demonstrated success in implementing lean logistics principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, particularly in managing remote teams.
