Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Logistics Operations Coordinator to join a growing transportation and logistics team in Blue Ash, OH.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics operations, freight transportation, customer relationship management, and carrier coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely freight transportation.
- Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities across multiple transportation modes.
- Support and expand Full Truckload (FTL) transportation operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
- Manage freight coverage, shipment coordination, and customer service requirements.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with customers and carriers.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
- Monitor shipments, troubleshoot transportation issues, and implement contingency plans when necessary.
- Assist account managers in managing and growing their business portfolios.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and effective problem-solving.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics operations, freight brokerage, transportation coordination, or supply chain management preferred.
- Knowledge of Full Truckload (FTL) transportation and freight operations preferred.
- Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and carriers over the phone.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented professional.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be able to commute to Blue Ash, OH 45242 for onsite work.
