Location: Brooklyn, NY (On-site).

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, delivery routing, fleet utilization, freight management, and inventory transfers across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will optimize delivery performance, control logistics costs, manage carrier relationships, and ensure timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage delivery routing, dispatch, scheduling, and installation appointments.
• Optimize fleet utilization, load consolidation, and cost per delivery.
• Configure and manage routing software, preferably Route4Me.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight, carrier relationships, rate negotiations, and freight claims.
• Oversee inventory transfers between locations and track stock in transit.
• Monitor purchase orders, vendor lead times, and direct/drop shipments.
• Reconcile work orders against deliveries and installations.
• Analyze logistics performance, track returns and reroutes, and prepare operational reports.
• Lead and train logistics support staff while coordinating with warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, delivery routing, freight management, or field service scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with routing and dispatch software.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing carriers, vendors, freight claims, and rate negotiations.
• Experience coordinating inventory transfers across multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with furniture, fixtures, or large-format product deliveries and installations.
• New York City delivery experience, including building access, freight elevators, and permits.
• Familiarity with Route4Me or similar routing platforms.
• Experience with ERP and task management systems.
