Description:
- Screen all incoming vehicles, determine destination points, and advise appropriate team members.
- Ensure all docks are ready for assigned trucks.
- Liaise with logistics and customer service regarding order processing.
- Prepare transportation loads and schedules for carriers and advise appropriate team members.
- Provide customer service for solving issues as they arise.
- Monitor carrier's pick-up timelines/advise teams on carriers behind schedule.
- Verify proper checking and loading signatures exist before providing the carrier with BOL for signage.
- Verify carrier has printed the name legible and signed BOL before releasing the shipment.
- Manage general inventory of office and warehouse supplies.
- Performs additional duties as required.
- Most work is performed in a DC office environment with occasional time spent in the DC Center
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay: $20/hr Hours: 8a - 5p
