Logistics Coordinator

Summary
The Logistics Associate receives and unloads incoming trucks and loads outgoing trucks while ensuring all safety and quality procedures are being followed. They work and assist in the shipping and receiving of products and materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in shipping and receiving products and materials.
- Accurately check in received items.
- Organize inventory within the plant.
- Inspect received materials and items to ensure they are free from damage.
- Ensure orders being shipped are correct and undamaged.
Qualifications
- High School or GED desired.
- Working knowledge of laptops.
- Must obtain forklift certification immediately.
- Ability and knowledge to learn Microsoft Office applications and/or Traverse.
- Integrity: requires honesty and ethics.

Work Environment
Primarily covered or enclosed building with seasonal temperature variations; moderate noise, dust and fumes.
Physical Demands
Frequently required to walk; ability to bend, squat, kneel, twist, and climb. Overtime and various working hours may be required depending on production schedule.
