Locums Psychiatrist Physician

We areseeking a Locums Psychiatrist (Physician) to provide inpatient coverage for adual diagnosis unit in Manchester, CT. This role focuses on managing patientswith both mental health and substance use disorders in a structured, team-basedenvironment.

Compensation

$220 Per Hour

Schedule

• Schedule: Monday-Friday,8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Call: None

Practice Setting

• Inpatient dual diagnosis unit
• 22-bed unit
• Patient Volume: ~12 patients per day
• Average length of stay: 7-10 days
• Multidisciplinary support teamincluding nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychiatrictechnicians

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients withco-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders
• Conduct psychiatric assessments,medication management, and treatment planning
• Participate in daily rounds andinterdisciplinary team meetings
• Coordinate care and dischargeplanning
• Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible inPsychiatry
• Active Connecticut medical license(or ability to obtain)
• Experience in inpatient psychiatryand/or addiction medicine preferred
