Aleading healthcare system in Lansing, Michigan is seeking a Locums NeonatalNurse Practitioner to provide coverage in a busy LevelIII Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This opportunity offers acollaborative inpatient environment within a Level I Trauma Center, caring forcritically ill and premature newborns alongside an experienced neonatologyteam.
Theideal candidate will have recent neonatal experience and be comfortablemanaging NICU patients in a high-acuity setting.

- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30AM
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- On-Call Requirements: None
- EMR: Epic
ClinicalResponsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neonatalcare in a Level III NICU
- Evaluate, diagnose, and managecritically ill and premature newborns
- Participate in daily rounding andmultidisciplinary care planning
- Manage admissions, consultations,and discharges within the NICU
- Collaborate closely withneonatologists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and ancillaryservices
- Respond to changes in patientcondition and initiate appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation in Epic
- Average of 10–12 patients per APPper day
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited NursePractitioner
- Active Michigan license required
- Neonatal experience required
- Current NRP (NeonatalResuscitation Program) certification required
- Experience working in a Level II,III, or IV NICU preferred
- Strong clinical assessment andneonatal critical care skills
